Chef De Partie
My client is seeking a passionate and experienced Chef De Partie to join the kitchen team at their gastropub, located just outside of Derby. The establishment is known for its fresh food menu and stunning setting, offering a unique dining experience for their customers.
Package on offer:
Basic salary of up to 12 per hour
Plus tips c300 per month
Meals on duty
48 Hour working week
As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard, and ensuring the smooth running of the section you are assigned to. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef to maintain the quality and consistency of our dishes, whilst also contributing to the development of new menus.
Key responsibilities:
Preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard, whilst maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
Assisting the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef in developing and implementing creative menus using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
Ensuring the smooth running of the section you are assigned to, and supporting other sections when needed
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
Assisting with the ordering and management of inventory to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen
Contributing to the development of new menus and ideas
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef De Partie in a restaurant or gastropub setting
Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients, and the ability to prepare and cook dishes to a high standard
A passion for fresh food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and health and safety regulations
Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff
Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
