Job Description

The ideal candidate is Barry’s brand enthusiast who is adaptable, energetic, and able to work cross-functionally with ease. We’re looking for someone with best-in-class communication skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and demonstrated experience leading the marketing function at a rapidly scaling organization with a strong brand identity.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce artwork for campaigns, challenges, charity events, brand collaborations - partnerships. (Email CRM, Marketing, Social Media).

  • Oversee Barry’s strategies and execution including interactive marketing and promotion, analytics, community marketing, corporate sales, and email campaign management.

  • Design PR materials, advertising, and other hard copy print for studio marketing collateral.

  • Take ownership of social projects & content from concept through production.

  • Drive the development, implementation, and results of Barry’s global marketing, corporate communications, and community activities, including customer life cycle (acquisition, conversion, frequency) customer segmentation, and loyalty.

  • Stay up to date with the latest social media: best practices, algorithms, and technologies.

  • Create and drive performance marketing metrics.

  • Design and improve marketing campaigns for each aspect of the business.

  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.

  • Collaborate with the Client Community manager to organize events.

  • Create & plan regional challenges to engage client attendance and bring fun to clientele

  • Participate in Global challenges through corporate leadership.

  • Formulate marketing strategy, brand standards, and measurement systems to present clear, measurable objectives that will lead to achieving business goals and targets.

  • Understand, anticipate, and address the drivers/barriers, influences, and nuances involved in marketing and brand decision-making.

  • Collaboration with influencers/bloggers for business exposure.

  • Manage partnerships/collaborations with other brands & companies.

  • Keep a pulse on revenue reports, paid digital strategies, and other components of the marketing program to ensure success within our target demographic.

  • Ensure high standards and quality assurance across all work produced so that it is cohesive, consistent, and on-brand.

  • Creative company branding for employees: Email signatures & promotional content.

  • Plan & execute photoshoots with trainers/ clients for company promotional content.

  • Animation in Final Cut Pro software for Social channel.

  • Editing video & photo content for social channels.

  • Ensure on-time and accurate delivery of all deliverables for digital platforms.

  • Consistent market and creative research to bring creative innovation to the business.

  • Design & Co-design Barry’s branded Retail collections.

  • Keep a pulse on revenue reports, paid digital strategies, and other components of the marketing program to ensure success within our target demographic.

Skills required:

  • Minimum 2 years of Marketing or Advertising experience.

  • Creative individual

  • Computer literate (Mac)

  • Graphic design experience

  • Strong knowledge of video, animated gifs, digital photography, and image manipulation.

  • Mailchimp software competency

  • Typeform software proficiency

  • Thorough understanding of Instagram and Facebook ads

  • Demonstrate flexibility, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Great attention to detail

  • Positive attitude / no ego - happy to do smaller production projects when needed

  • Fitness/wellness industry background preferred
