Job Description
Hotel & Catering Personnel is delighted to be seeking an urgent placement for a strong, well experienced HR / Admin Coordinator. This role is on supervisor level, reporting directly to the General Manager.
Salary package of between QAR 6,000 - QAR 7,000 (this includes all allowances and will be dependent on experience):
- 6 day working week / 9 hrs per day
- Fridays off
Duties & Responsibilities
GENERAL
- Assisting in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Conducting employee onboarding and help plan training & development
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leave and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Undertake tasks around performance management
- Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Respond to employee’s inquiries on process, requirements about different HR &
- Admin Service and Company policies
- Conducting Exit Interview and generating report for the management
- Grievance handling and reporting to General Manager
- Ensuring closure of grievances through close coordination with compensation, administration and other HR Function
- Counsels’ employees regarding work, family, or personal problems
- Handling Medical Insurance of the employee
- Carry out the sourcing of Applicants, as per the requirements set by the requesting
- Use one or several platforms (e.g. Newspaper Ads, Job Portals, and Networking)
- Social Sites) in sourcing / obtaining CV’s of applicants qualified for the vacancy(s) based on the instruction of the Recruitment Head.
- Review the different applicant CV’s in order to determine the applicants who are deemed as the most qualified for the said vacancies
- Support the distribution, sign off, receiving and filing of all Job Descriptions for existing (promoted or transferred) and new employees in accordance to guidelines and standards.
- Provide feedback to the HOD’s for any differences or discrepancies in the job descriptions and actual roles / responsibilities of employees for proper checking / investigation.
- Assist the HOD’s in the development of Job Descriptions for new positions.
HR COMPLIANCE
- Follow up with the HOD’s on pending leave and certifications
- Monitoring and follow-up on division performance appraisal compliance
- Coordinating with Managers and Admin to ensure smooth functioning of HR operation
- Closely coordinating with PRO and Immigration for Visa and Qatar ID
- Conduct HR Orientation/ Induction for all new employees
- Creating employment file
REQUIREMENTS
- 2-3 years working experience in a similar role within Qatar
- VERY well versed in Qatar Labor Law
