Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Our Receptionist is the first point of contact for our members & visitors and will be responsible for ensuring they receive a warm and friendly welcome and any queries are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner. You will also deal with membership and sales enquiries as well as carry out a variety of front desk tasks, such as taking phone calls, answering questions, handling correspondence, and keeping the reception area clean and well-organized.  

The ideal candidate should have a friendly personality, communicate efficiently, and have basic computer skills. 

2.         MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide excellent customer service to our members and guests
  • Maintain a high level of hygiene and be presentable at all times
  • To deal with membership and sales enquiries and carry out administrative duties
  • Build a good rapport and relationship with all of our members and guests
  • Deal with customer enquiries in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are completed in accordance with the Finance Procedures.
  • Manage the entry and exit system effectively
  • Actively promote the various memberships we have available.
  • Maintain and update the membership database system
  • Promote member challenges and initiatives
  • To ensure Safeguarding and Health & Safety procedures are being followed
  • Able to seek solutions and resolve problems, as and when they arise

3.         QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Secondary School qualification and at least 2-3 years work experience in a customer service role. 

First Aid Qualification desirable but not essential. 

IT Skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Arabic speaker is highly desired
