Job Description

Events Manager

We are searching for an enthusiastic Events Manager with a “can-do” attitude to take charge of all planning and organisation for our large variety of events. The Event Manager will be briefed on the events and the right candidate will become emersed in our brands ethos to ensure execution is in line with expectations. A focus on the guest experience is paramount and a creative, out the box thinker will perform well. We operate a busy events/activations calendar which vary in size and audience. As a result, an energetic and passionate person is a must, with a positive attitude and incredible organisational skills.  

A well-suited Events Manager will strive to guarantee impeccable service at all times and have the ability to pay attention to fine details to ensure the customers experience is memorable.  

Responsibilities:

  • Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts
  • Managing all events
  • Coordinate with all existing suppliers for events where required
  • Coordinate with our other in-house teams where required to effectively execute events
  • For every event, ensure that the experience curation brief is understood
  • Develop activation ideas and propose new concepts
  • Ensure PR, Marketing and pre-event promotion is executed thoroughly
  • Recruiting temporary event staff where required
  • Providing specific event briefs to relevant departments and 3rd parties
  • Manage the budgets and payment schedules
  • Liaising and negotiating with vendors
  • Handling logistics
  • Updating senior management
  • Obtaining permits
  • Issuing health and safety documentation where required
  • Ensuring the required insurance is in place always
  • Handling post-event reports
  • Liaise with venue point of contacts constantly
  • Ensure Supervisors and Waiters are adhering to event brief

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the UAE region
  • Degree in Public relations, Communications, or hospitality
  • Communication and marketing skills
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent leadership skills

  • Excellent time management
  • Proficiency in various event software
  • Expert interpersonal skills
  • Negotiating skills
  • Risk management experience
