Job Description
MAIN PURPOSE:
The Operations Manager is mainly responsible for the smooth operations, to achieve the store development, sales and profit goals through oversight of all aspects of the restaurants, CPU and Catering Operations.
The key function is to increase average store sales through customer satisfaction and to drive operations excellence.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Establishes operations standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety and complete on-time delivery of a quality food product.
- Directs implementation and execution of restaurant policies and procedures throughout the assigned market that optimize returns on assets and increase sales and profits.
- Builds, develops and manages an operations team capable of carrying out needed operations and unit growth strategies in addition improving employee and guest relations.
- Provides leadership for problem resolution and improved working relationships.
- Oversees operations budget to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements.
- Ensures local store marketing initiatives are coordinated and executed.
- Partners with the corporate staff in achieving business results.
- Ensures compliance with all UAE restaurant regulations.
- Provide input for menus-- creating, developing, and recommending recipes for the use of other staff—to create a consistent and quality food product.
- Accountable for restaurants management performance and assurance of meeting goals.
- Coordinates with training department to ensure the proper execution of the training plan and system in the stores.
- Actively coaches restaurant managers and promotes their professional development internally and through coordinated education programs.
- Perform yearly managers performance appraisal and follow up on staff appraisals.
- Work closely with the purchasing department on any supply / vendor issues affecting restaurants operations.
Skills
- BA degree in Business Administration/Hospitality Management from a reputable university
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar position from a busy restaurant chain operation, with experience in handling catering, and franchise experience is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of Hospitality
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent Interpersonal and Negotiation Skills

- Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
