Job Description

§  Greet and welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor.

§  Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests efficiently and courteously.

§  Ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience from arrival to departure.

§  Recruit, train, and supervise host/hostess staff.

§  Schedule and manage shifts to ensure adequate coverage.

§  Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

§  Manage the reservation system, including online bookings, phone reservations, and walk-ins.

§  Optimize table assignments to maximize seating efficiency and guest satisfaction.

§  Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

§  Maintain and update guest records and preferences to personalize service.

§  Liaise with the kitchen, bar, and service staff to ensure accurate communication of guest needs and preferences.

§  Assist in promoting special events, menu changes, and other restaurant activities.

§  Communicate effectively with management about any issues, feedback, or areas for improvement.

§  Ensure special handling of repeat guests and VIPs.

§  Relay messages to servers and commis as needed.

§  Walk the floor and ensure all guest are satisfied with their allocations.

§  Collect guest and team feedbacks during and after every service.

§  Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.

Give guest preferences and special requests to employees during briefing to meet one step ahead program
