Job Description

Title:                 Assistant Marketing Manager

Reports to:       Managing Partner

 

Overview

The Assistant Marketing Manager role is responsible for assisting with developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns specifically tailored to the hospitality industry, which includes F&B, restaurants, events, and related businesses. Your primary goal is to attract and retain guests, enhance brand awareness, and ultimately drive revenue to the establishments.

 

Main Responsibilities

Organising and Managing

Participate in the creation/management of the budgets given

Inform and quantify the statistics related to the community targeted.

Share suggestions/opportunities given by clients, or the market.

 

Daily

Review, respond, and interact with users on every platform: DMs, comments, mentions, blogs, etc.

Encourage effective user engagement in their postings and publishing.

Take action to ensure strategies are in place to convert the audience into guests or clients.

Review that the scheduled posts are activated as planned.

Encourage engaging activity on our social media platforms with clients and users.

Pay attention to what has been communicated about the brands during the day and what has generated effective engagement to evaluate who we are reaching and how.

Create and capture content with the accounts/venues.

Social listening and interaction.

 

Weekly

Search and select relevant content that may add value to the community we are reaching, to attract traffic organically.

Schedule posts on all our platforms, taking into consideration the particularities of every platform, ensuring they are done efficiently.

Follow up with the active campaigns on all our platforms.

Compile a summary of all campaigns and their results, providing qualitative and quantitative evaluations.

Monitor the overall perception of our brands online and take a proactive approach to prevent negative feedback against us and our brands.

Search, select and connect with true influencers who can add value to our brands.

Create content calendars.

 

Monthly

Keep close track of what’s happening in the market, especially of competitors, and share current trends.

Propose and draft content according to the goals set.

Plan online campaigns for every one of our brands.

Update our website and LinkedIn pages with relevant content.

Propose added-value activities: blogger invites, PR stunts, and so forth.

Manage the approved digital marketing plans and their action plans

Keep updated with new technologies and strategies that can benefit the visibility and positioning of our brands.

Analyse the activity and development of the competition.

Complete a report on all the activities carried out and developed in the month as well as ROI across all platforms.
