Job Description

 

Brief Description: 

The role of the Shisha Waiter entails taking orders and serving Shisha to customers at tables in the dining establishment with the utmost professionalism whilst adding a unique personal touch to your entire service.

 

Tasks:

  • Time management, cleaningness, attendence and forward thinking to complete the tasks. 
  • Adhere to the Staff allocation and rotation decided by the managements.
  • Ensure that charcoal has started and water & ice are available for service at the workstation in a timely manner.
  • Remain attentive in allocated stationed zone and be on constant lookout for any shisha related enquiries from guests.
  • When engaging with customers they should be treated in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Present menus, answer queries about menu items, provide recommendations, and sell and upsell products.
  • Prepare the requested shisha for the customer while adhering to the company policy regarding shisha preperation
  • Deliver the final product with utmost care and professionalism after having ensured that the shisha is started and ready for use by the client.
  • Ensure customers are satisfied with their Shisha experience and address any concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate with the venue's waitstaff to punch orders.
  • Change the charcoal of the clients for every 10 minutes maximum and when needed upsell for new shisha when its done or burned.
  • Ensure the shisha cover or wind protector is used when weather is bad.
  • Retrieve the Shisha device once customers have finished.
  • Make rounds around the stationed zone to make sure the service is meeting all customer expectations.
  • Clean the shisha device after every use of client and store back in the right cabinet.
  • Ensure all mollasses is covered and used in a neat manner.
  • Keep the workstation and shisha materials clean at all times.
  • Respect the Hierarchy of the company

 

 

Requirements:

 

  1. Language skillsIt is a standard in our company to have Intermediate level english, Including any other Language skills that can add value to the company are important as well
  2. Experience: Previous experience in shisha service is required.
  3. Knowledge: Familiarity with different shisha flavors, packing techniques, and heat management methods is a must have.
  4. Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  5. Attention to Detail: Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  6. Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on hotel/restaurant needs.
  7. Professionalism: Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and integrity in previous roles.
  8. Legal Requirements: Compliance with legal requirements for shisha service, including Municipality rules and regulations regarding the handling of shisha related products and health and safety regulations.
