As Bar Manager you are not only responsible for planning and managing bar operations, but you are also here to create an environment where our guests can feel welcomed and enjoy the variety of services that we have to offer.
Main Responsibilities
• Oversee the service of beverages within the restaurant and at the main bar.
• Take responsibility for stock control, including ordering, acceptance, maintenance of stock levels stock rotation and return of any sub-standard items along with the venue’s purchasing officer.
• Assist in menu development or seasonal changes and promotions.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with guests.
• Conduct internal or external training for the team to be kept up to date with market trends.
• Work shift work, weekends, and public holidays, ensuring prompt timekeeping and attendance.
• Ensure breaks are organised per fluctuations in the volume of business.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are achieved and maintained at all times and are monitored and updated when and where necessary.
• Comply with and implement all legislative and licensing requirements.
• Ensure the team's conduct, uniform and personal hygiene requirements are adhered to.
• Promote the venue and its facilities to all prospective guests or guests to maximise sales and revenue.
• Report and where possible take action in any incidents of complaint, accident, fire, loss, or damage.
• Check guest satisfaction regularly, ensuring all guest feedback is dealt with professionally and efficiently to minimize negative impressions of the venue.
• Ensuring service is as smooth and as consistent as possible.
• Be proactive in problem-solving and use your initiative to deal with problems and opportunities. Key Skills

• Motivation: Always keep your team motivated and passionate to ensure a satisfactory experience for all guests.
• Product Knowledge: Exceptional product knowledge and service techniques in a fast-paced environment are essential.
