About Us: We are seeking an exceptional Reception Manager to lead operations in our dynamic, competitive socializing environment. Our venue offers a lively atmosphere where guests come together to enjoy entertainment and exceptional service. As the Reception Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our venue while upholding the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Act as the Manager on Duty, supporting departmental targets and KPIs, ensuring operational excellence, and providing feedback to departmental managers.
  • Team building: Maintain a well-trained team of receptionists and hosts capable of enhancing the experience of all in the room. A multi-skilled group as adept at handling our live tee-off schedule as they are at hosting large groups in our bespoke private rooms.
  • Guest Experience Enhancement: Maintain a visible presence to both staff and guests, anticipate and address issues, and exceed guest expectations through proactive measures. Utilize suggestive selling techniques to maximize revenue while upholding cash control standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Lead safety efforts for guests and team members, actively monitoring and addressing concerns to ensure a safe environment for all.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a high-volume venue, with a focus on guest service and operational efficiency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage, train and motivate a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards, with the ability to enforce policies and procedures effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to drive business objectives while enhancing the guest experience.
