We are looking for a Sous Chef whose role is to deliver an outstanding customer experience. We’re seeking a passion for hospitality, creativity, and a drive to be extraordinary!

Your tasks will cover the following:

  • Supervising all kitchen stations.
  • Directing food preparation processes and delegating tasks collaborating with the Executive Chef.
  • Producing high quality dishes , including both design and taste according to brand standards.
  • Assists the Executive Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes.
  • Supervising, motivating, and working closely with culinary teams of all levels.
  • Ensuring food quality, excellent standards and menu consistency are maintained for all dishes created.
  • Assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking, and ordering.
  • Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines.
  • Assisting with menu planning and management of supplies.
  • Ensures that the kitchen performs according to standards and guidelines.
  • Solving problems that arise and seizing control of issues in the kitchen.
  • Scheduling of kitchen staff.
  • Ensuring the kitchen operates in a timely manner that meets quality brand standards.
  • Monitoring and development of commis and apprentices.

 

An ideal candidate will have the following personality traits, skills, and experiences:

  • At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar position in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with high-pressure situations.
  • Depending on location a good level of English may be required.
  • Good knowledge of all sections.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and those around you.
  • Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work.
