We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team at Zali.
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, while maintaining the high standards of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
1. Execute a creative and authentic Lebanese menu, showcasing a mastery of traditional flavors and modern culinary techniques.
2. Lead, train, and inspire kitchen staff to consistently deliver exceptional quality and presentation of dishes.
3. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering, and cost management to ensure optimal efficiency and profitability.
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
5. Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events, promotions, and menu updates to enhance the overall dining experience.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, incorporating new ideas into the menu while preserving the authenticity of Lebanese cuisine.
7. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth among kitchen staff.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef, with a focus on Lebanese cuisine.
3. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate kitchen staff.
4. Ability to create and execute menu concepts that appeal to diverse tastes while maintaining cultural authenticity.
5. Solid understanding of kitchen operations, including budgeting, inventory management, and cost control.
6. Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience in Lebanese cuisine.
