Position Summary:
The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining and nurturing client relationships, ensuring successful project execution, and driving the growth of client accounts. This role requires a combination of client-facing communication, project management, and a deep understanding of marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
Understand and align with the client's business goals and marketing objectives.
Regularly communicate with clients to gather feedback, provide updates, and address concerns or inquiries.
Identify opportunities for upselling or expanding services to meet client needs.
Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of marketing campaigns and projects.
Collaborate with internal teams (creative, content, digital, etc.) to ensure projects are executed on time and within scope.
Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Ensure project objectives are met and deliverables are of high quality.
Strategic Planning:
Work with clients to define marketing strategies and goals.
Develop and present strategic plans and recommendations to clients.
Continuously assess and adjust strategies based on performance and changing market conditions.
Client Communication:
Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and campaign performance analysis to clients.
Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Keep clients informed of industry trends and insights that may impact their business.
Budget Management:
Manage client budgets and allocations effectively.
Monitor spending and ensure campaigns are within budget constraints.
Provide financial reports and analysis to clients as needed.
Quality Assurance:
Review and approve marketing materials and content to ensure alignment with client objectives and brand guidelines.
Conduct quality checks to maintain high standards of work.
Client Retention:
Identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
Proactively address any issues to prevent client churn.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in account management, preferably within a marketing agency.
Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
