The Head Waiter is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the dining area. This role involves supervising and coordinating the activities of the waitstaff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.

Principal Duties

• Know and use the service guidelines by the brand guideline.
• Greet customers promptly and courteously.
• Take orders and deliver food to customers on the table in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure all guests receive positive and professional service to the highest standards to exceed the customer's expectations and obtain feedback from the customers.
• Follow sequence of service standards as per the brand guidelines.
• Have a complete and thorough knowledge of all menu items in order to be able to describe and make suggestive selling to customers.
• Ensure food quality and consistency is delivered at all times.
• Manage the set up and close down of tables within the section.
• Divide restaurant into sections for each shift and ensure fair allocations for the team.
• Ensure full closing procedures are carried out consistently and thoroughly.
• Ensure tables are turned around and ready with minimal delay.
