Job Description:

Answering reservation and guest service calls in a courteous and professional manner. Maintain a high standard of service and hospitality at all times. Maximize revenue for our clients. 

 

JOB DUTIES:

 

1. Provide courteous guest service by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests and booking of reservations.

2. Uses suggestive selling skills and company sales programs to maximize revenue.

3. Processes reservations, changes and cancellations in an efficient and accurate manner, using company-approved software.

4. Uses professional telephone etiquette.

5. Has knowledge of current marketing programs, special rates and promotions applicable to our clients.

6. Attends and participates in scheduled meetings (either online or in person).

7. Uses established reservation procedures and follows all policies in effect.

8. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

 

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

Ability to take written and verbal direction.

Ability to relate to the public in a warm, friendly, and professional manner by creating a hospitable environment.

Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.

Ability to operate multiple software and applications.

 

WORK LOCATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Requires a free-from-distraction work area in your home, desk, and chair.

Requires internet that meets our speed requirements of 20 Mbps download and 4 Mbps upload.

Requires the flexibility to come to the corporate office as required for work-related reasons.

 

EDUCATION

 

Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to four years of high school.

 

EXPERIENCE

 

At least 2 years of experience working with reservations for high-end restaurants or five-star hotels.

 

PHYSICAL SKILLS

 

Requires the ability to work in a seated position for a period of nine hours. Ability to hear using a headset. Ability to read a computer screen and operate a computer for an extended period of time. Must have accurate and efficient typing skills.

 

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

 

1. Reports to Call Center Operations Manager and Team Leader.

2. Coordinates and cooperates with other Call Center Management and Call Center team members.
