We are currently seeking energetic and service oriented Head Waiters/Waitress to join our esteemed floor team. As a Head waiter, you will play a central role in curating an exceptional service experience, overseeing the floor team, and contributing to the innovation of our service. If you have a passion for mixology, a refined palate, and are committed to providing top-notch service, we invite you to lead our floor team and elevate the service experience at our fabulous restaurant. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide a quick, efficient, friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
• Control a section during service, taking orders and issuing bills.
• Responsible for directing and motivating a team of Commis Waiters.
• Promote sales and build up a rapport with all guests.
• Assist the restaurant team in the building of an efficient department, by taking an active interest in the employees’ welfare, safety and professional development.
• Be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability assigned, including redeployment to alternative areas if required to meet the needs of the business and guest service requirements.
• Contribute to regular departmental communications meetings.
• Ensure that the restaurant is set according to standards/ policies.
• Report training needs of individuals and / or team to manager on duty.
• Adhere to and comply with cleaning schedules and opening / closing checklists to the agreed company standard.
• Be fully compliant to current legislation regarding hygiene, food safety, health and safety and licensing law as they apply to the restaurant.
• Monitor the service standards of the team and implement action plans to improve where necessary
• Be positive and responsive to any guest’s request and exceed expectations.
• Support and be fully aware of the POS system and to ensure the proper operation within the restaurant by all staff.

Requirements: 

- Proven experience as a Head Waiter o in a high-end restaurant or luxury establishment. 

- Leadership and team management skills. 

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic bar environment.
