Brief Description:
The position of bookkeeping, accounting, and auditing clerk consists of performing any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.
Tasks:
- Managing all finance data collection, reporting and activities in each department;
- Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records;
- Collection of Reports from office for review
- Monthly Bank Reconciliation.
- Monthly Collection of supplier’s statement, verifying the statements with our reports and preparing the cheques detail accordingly.
- Identify and focus on weak areas to control cost.
- Making adjusting entries at the end of every month.
- Code documents according to company procedures;
- Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses;
- Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information;
- Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
- Comply with federal tax authority and company policies, procedures, and regulations;
- Provide the full Accounting & VAT Return submission as per scope of work, as specified for the activities in respect of the business operations.
- Preparation and filing of VAT Returns and corporate tax submission (Quarterly)
- Ensure proper filling as per the company and FTA requirements.
- Preparation and presentation of reports monthly; Statement of Financial Position- Statement of Comprehensive Income- Statement of Cash Flow- Statement of Changes in Equity- Accounts Payable Report- Accounts Receivable Report
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A Bachelors diploma in finance or equivalent;
- Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, and to manage one's own time.
