Job Description
  • Providing support to the Accounting Department
  • Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
  • Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person
  • Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.
  • Management of petty cash transactions as required
  • Receive, verify and post invoices into the accounting system and ensure accuracy of compliance with company policies.
  • Posting of Bank and Cash transactions into accounting software.
  • To Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements.
  • To Reconcile Intercompany ledger and statements.
  • To Prepare accounts payable reports and assist in month-end closing processes. (e.g Payable ageing)
  • To assist with audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.

Pre-requisites
Associate degree in related field
2-4 years of experience in hotels/restaurants/customer service - preferred
Valid UAE License - Preferred
Proficient with computers and basic programs (Microsoft Office, email)
Well-acquainted with QuickBooks. Not necessarily an expert.
