Job Description:

As a Waiter at Jala, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing guests with a warm and inviting experience. You will guide guests through a culinary journey that blends Asian and Middle Eastern influences with Miami's vibrancy. From welcoming guests to presenting our diverse menu, your role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. You will ensure every interaction leaves a lasting impression, contributing to positive reviews on social media and enhancing Jala’s reputation as a premier dining destination..

Responsibilities:

· Greet and seat guests with a warm, friendly demeanour.

· Present and explain menu items, including signature dishes like Seared Wagyu Tacos, Crab Rolls, and Singapore Chilli Prawns, making personalised recommendations to enhance the dining experience.

· Take and relay food and beverage orders accurately to the kitchen and bar teams.

· Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets Jala's high standards.

· Monitor tables and anticipate guests' needs, delivering attentive, personalised service.

· Assist in setting up and clearing tables, and maintaining a clean and organised dining environment.

· Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests professionally and efficiently.

· Ensure a positive guest experience to encourage favourable reviews on social media platforms.

· Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere that aligns with Jala's brand.

Qualifications:

· Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.

· Previous experience as a waiter in a fine dining or high-end restaurant seƫting.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Strong customer service orientation
