Candidate Preference
Responsible for the Hostess department procedures and processes
Assign daily tasks to Hostess staff
Responsible for the work schedule of the Hostess staff
Review booked reservations and arrival reports daily
Ensure that proper telephone & communication manners are maintained by the Reservations staff at all times
Handles all guests’ complaints
Ensure adequate handling of repetitive guests and VIP guests
Coordinate group/event requests in cooperation with the CEO
Developing monthly sales and marketing plan by surveying restaurant demand; conferring with people in the community; identifying and evaluating competitors
Responsible for the smooth communication between the Reservations department and all other departments in regards to bookings and occupancy
Responsible for the production and distribution of all booking reports to relevant departments
Review no-show and cancelled reservations and report accordingly to Managing Directors
regarding performance and actual sales statistics
Recruit hire train and mentor staff developing skills and customer service excellence
Support the grow of our PR plan alongside the PR manager appropriate to the brand and
manage and monitor execution
Strong understanding of sales breakdown and key contributors (covers / spend per head etc)
across venue
Aim to increase databases through internal and external initiatives
Competitor analysis, which includes the following:awareness of local competition as well as key competitors in the market (new and existing) and new openings, including price, promotion, place and product
On-going research and awareness of the trends
Database building that belongs to the Group
Review competitive pricing and report back on an on-going basis
