Position Overview:

Play Dining Group is seeking a highly motivated Senior Events Executive with a strong focus on sales to join our team. The Senior Events Executive will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and driving sales for a wide range of events and functions across our portfolio of restaurants. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with top chefs, talented teams, and creating memorable guest experiences that lead to increased sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a sales lead strategy, focusing on both new and repeat business. Implement lead generation strategies, including outreach, follow-ups, and nurturing client relationships. Negotiate contracts and terms to secure event bookings.

Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, budget, and requirements. Identify the most suitable venues within our restaurants for their events. Plan and conceptualize the event, including its theme, format, and logistics. Work closely with chefs to customize menus that align with client preferences and budget. Ensure that events meet Play Dining Group's standards of excellence, leading to repeat business.

Build and maintain relationships with clients, corporations, and event planners to generate sales leads and referrals.

Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers. Maintain relationships with them to ensure smooth execution.

Develop and manage event budgets, keeping track of expenses and ensuring that costs stay within the allocated budget.

Create detailed event timelines and manage all logistical aspects, including setup, teardown, transportation, and scheduling of various event elements.

Lead event teams, including staff and volunteers. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure everyone is working together effectively.

Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials, manage invitations, and implement marketing strategies to attract attendees.

Oversee event execution on the day of the event, troubleshooting any issues that may arise, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the planning process, providing updates and addressing any concerns.

Conduct post-event evaluations to analyse the success of the event, gather feedback from attendees and clients, and identify areas for improvement.

Desired skill and experience:

Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or sales/Marketing.

Proven experience minimum 5 years in event planning and management.

Strong Sales & negotiation skills, dealing with clients, vendors, and partners.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to clearly convey ideas in writing and verbal presentations to Clients. Create compelling sales presentations and materials to showcase the unique value of hosting events at our venues.

Establish and track sales metrics, providing regular reports on sales performance.

Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Proficiency in CRM systems, sales software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Passion for the culinary and hospitality industry.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Creativity and the ability to bring innovative ideas to events.

Team and people management.

Expert in English language and any additional languages would be an advantage.
