Pedal Cafe hiring Chef at Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are looking for an Acai & Bowl/Smoothie Master to head up a new concept in Dubai. Working with a proven operator in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be super creative and not only be able to both follow existing recipies but also develop new creations! 

Responsibilities will include

Managing food orders, speed of service and ensuring quality food production

• Following all company policies pertaining to daily operations and ensuring all employees do the same
• Establishing strong, transparent lines of communication with upper management, customers, Shift Supervisors and Team Members
• Showing exemplary knowledge of Grapes and Dates brand, products and recipes.
• Consistently educating and engaging customers and employees on all Grapes and Dates products and services
• Managing inventory levels daily, assisting in performing operational procedures such as inventory counts, placing orders, accepting deliveries, etc.
• Assisting in creating schedules based on the needs of the business
• Observing the needs of customers and team members and communicating those observations to upper management
• Meeting all business and productivity metrics daily during shifts, including sales and budgets
• Identifying performance opportunities and collaborating with upper management to create strategies to improve overall store and team member productivity
• Following all company food safety, allergen safety, cash handling, cleanliness, and operational policies and procedures, and ensuring that all employees are in compliance as well
• Leading the team by example
• Promoting a positive, uplifting and motivating in-store culture that thrives on teamwork
• Having a growth mindset and looking to create, plan and realize goals pertaining to self and store performance
• Other duties as assigned by upper management based on business needs
