Job Description
- To be punctual with an exceptional appearance in full uniform and appropriate footwear.
- Daily set up of all systems and assist and oversee the floor staff set up duties for a punctual opening.
- Daily booking organisation, working and communicating closely with the reservation manager, front door manager to ensure that all bed and tables are fully prepared and to notify one another with any upgrades, cancellations and/or on the day sales and changes.
- Conduct the daily staff briefings to prepare for the day ahead and give all the daily information needed for service and any feedback from the previous day.
- Welcome all guests with a smile, happy friendly and professional attitude.
- Supervision of the floor/ beach team including and not limited to delegation of roles, organising breaks, ongoing training, conducting sales, conducting new strategies to promote sales.
- Assist the floor/ beach staff to execute customer engagement, ensure that all customers are satisfied with their day, service, and venue.
- You are responsible for the escalation of any client queries, questions and complaints and be dealt with in an effective, timely and efficient manner. Client issues and complaints may be escalated by you to the manager if needed.
- You must monitor your sections throughout the day pre-empting issues, identifying busy and quiet areas and making changes.
- You are expected to assist with service, cleanliness and all floor/ beach staff duties when needed.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained area.
- Ensure the team is always punctual well-presented and professional.
- Work closely, assist and communicate well with the Floor Manager, Director of Operations.
- Ensure you are fully knowledgeable with regards to the Beach Club layout, pricing, terms & conditions, events, and general information especially menus and be confident and knowledgeable in decision making and understand what changes can be made to packages.
- You must monitor the system and tables recognising and advising staff on how to promote sales to close the minimum spend to maximise revenue.
- Assist and supervise the close, cleaning, re stocking and preparation for the following day.
- Generating daily report to monitor sales, commission, complaints, and all information from the service.
- Responsible for understanding the daily stock and relaying this to the floor staff
- Managing restaurant staff's work schedules.
- Conducting regular inspections of the F&B areas to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
- Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.
- Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.
- Monitoring the restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills.
- Achieve exceptional customer service and ensure that customers have a pleasant restaurant experience.
- Act/ decide fairly towards the staff and colleagues.
- Able to perform additional duties as requested by the company as and when required.
