The Nice Guy hiring Bar Back at Dubai, United Arab Emirates

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assists all bartenders in making classic drinks and specialty cocktails.
• Maintains a clean and organized bar.
• Monitor and stock bar levels.
• Assist with inventories.
• Possess a full knowledge of drink recipes and pricing.
• Washes and polishes glassware to maintain glassware that is ready for service at all times.
• Works to anticipate the needs of the Bartender at all times, assisting them however necessary.
• Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate customer needs and assist other team members when the opportunity arises.
• Removes all trash from bar area, following venue protocol for storage, handling and transportation of waste materials.
• Follows all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division and Dubai Health Department following all health and safety regulations.
• Performs all opening and closing duties as assigned
• Provide a courteous, professional, attentive, and efficient service at all times with all departments and customers
• Attend and contribute to all staff briefings and other related activities
• Maintain the level of inventory as per the bar standard
• Fill in all temperature sheets for the fridges and chillers

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in similar position
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Good knowledge on beverage and food
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
