Meshico Group Dubai hiring Host/Hostess at Dubai, United Arab Emirates

The Hostess is responsible for welcoming and seating the guests. 

She works closely with the reservations manager and assists him/her in some of his/her daily tasks.

Duties and responsibilities

• The Hostess has to check that any guest coming in is directly taken care of and welcomed as soon as arrived. 
• To offer a personalized service it is best to call a guest by his name and therefore a memorization of the guest’s names is necessary. 
• She makes sure, before the service, that the welcoming area is set and clean and that her table plan is done and has been applied correctly by Servers and the Servers are informed about the name of the reservation and minimum spend and special requests
• She has to know the floor plan perfectly.
• Hostesses are responsible for training and assisting new Hostesses.
• Ensure that personal grooming and uniform is to the required s standards.
• Promotes image of the restaurant by displaying impeccable manners, diplomacy and tact towards our outlet, guests and the management.
• Assure a perfect welcoming and its commited to achieve 85% of positive comments in social media. 
• She informs the reservations manager in any case of maintenance problem or malfunction.
• Responsible for filling table reports in the end of operation.
• Attends briefings, training sessions and weekly meetings. 
• She deals with complaints or special requests and reports it to the management even if the problem is fixed.

• Friendly personality who enjoys dealing with a variety of different people
• Pleasant demeanor and temperament with a strong focus on customer service
• Flexible schedule for nights, weekends, holidays, and/or split shifts as necessary
• Neat appearance and exceptional grooming habits for a professional presence
• She should have High School diploma with experience in customer service
