You will be the first point of contact for visitors and you will be responsible for ensuring our clients receive a warm and friendly welcome and any queries are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner. You will also deal with membership and sales enquiries as well as carry out a variety of front desk tasks, such as taking phone calls, answering questions, handling correspondence, and keeping the reception area clean and well-organized
The ideal candidate should have a friendly personality, be familiar with gym equipment, communicate efficiently, and have basic computer skills.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
A. To provide excellent customer service to our members and guests
B. To deal with membership and sales enquiries and carry out administrative duties
C. To ensure the gym and dance studio areas are maintained to a high standard during each shift
MAIN DUTIES & REPSONSIBILITIES
• Build a good rapport and relationship with all of our members and guests
• Deal with customer enquiries in a friendly and efficient manner
• Ensure that all financial transactions are completed in accordance with the Finance Procedures.
• Manage the entry and exit system effectively
• To actively promote and sell the various memberships we have available.
• Maintain and update the membership database system
• Promote member challenges and initiatives
• Responsible for the safety and enjoyment of our customers whilst using the gym facilities
• To ensure Safeguarding and Health & Safety procedures are being followed
• Able to seek solutions and resolve problems, as and when they arise
ADDITIONAL TASKS

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
• Have a friendly and professional approach
• First Aid Qualification desirable but not essential
• IT Skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Outgoing and confident with people of all ages
• Able to work shifts
