JOB SUMMARY : Do everything to be the Greatest Restaurant Of All Time The Art of Delivering a Wow Experience - Inspire your team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
DAILY ACTIVITIES : • Checklists - Ensure all opening and closing checklists are completed and signed off daily. • The Heartbeat of our Team - the Message Board - Ensure that the Message Board is constantly up to date, relevant, informative and valuable - Including, Communicate guest complaints and feedback and ensure it never happens again - making a legend out of a bad situation. Ensure fun and engaging staff incentives are communicated. • Prevention is better than cure. Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance program -Ensure that all hazards are neutralized. Health & safety, fire safety and pest control. • The gift of touch. Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards. • The Guarantee of Success - Train and cross-train every team member to the highest standard (have excellent knowledge of the concept, menus, wine lists, opening times, closing times, reservation policies, smoking policies, policies on larger tables, licensing laws and extension numbers) and that company rules & procedures are followed in accordance with the staff handbook. • The Perfect pre-shift briefing.- including VIP’s, Celebrities and Royalty. • Things only a manager can do - discounts, gestures, recovery, voids, petty cash, POS, transfers. • Getting Mainers on board - how we hire. • Daily Intel: The dashboard - daily reports.
WEEKLY ACTIVITIES : • Do a quality audit each week. • Your HR Responsibilities - schedule, ph, sl, ab, evals, discipline, resignation, succession planning. • Coordinate between the bar, the floor, the kitchen and the front desk through a weekly communication meeting. • Supplies and Inventories. MONTHLY ACTIVITIES : • Ensure food, bar, labor and all other operating costs (Entertainment, Business Promotions, Sales & Marketing, Laundry, Utilities, etc..) meet budgets. • What gets measured gets done - Meet with the Operations Director and discuss operational issues - use effective measurements.
