Kiza Restaurant hiring Head Host/Hostess at Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Hostess to join our team at KIZA Restaurant and Lounge DIFC. The Chief Hostess will be responsible for managing the host/hostess team and ensuring that guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and leadership skills, a strong attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage the host/hostess team, including scheduling, training, and supervising staff. 

• Take ownership of the guest experience working with the Maître D’. 

• Greet and seat guests in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a warm and welcoming environment. 

• Manage reservations and ensure that guests' needs are met throughout their visit. 

• Ensure that the dining room is clean and organized, with tables, chairs, and other equipment set up correctly. 

• Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively, striving to resolve any issues to the guest's satisfaction. 

• Manage front office inventory and ordering of restaurant supplies, including linens, tableware, and other equipment. 

• Take part in the planning and execution of both private and public events and ensure that events are executed flawlessly. 

• Ensure Restaurant policies are strictly adhered to and guests are informed of such when making reservations. 

• Ensure that all staff follow health and safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment. 

• Perform other duties as assigned by management. 

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Hostess or in a similar role in a high-end restaurant and lounge. 

• Must be charismatic:- outgoing, energetic, and likable personality that draws other people to them. 

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of host/hostesses. 

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. 

• Must have a high level of professionalism, sense of style and a positive attitude. 

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
