Key Job Responsibilities:
• To direct and supervise the service associates during service and to ensure that all duties are performed as per the required standards
• Prepare duty schedules according to the forecast in order to ensure adequate manpower for operational needs
• Evaluate performance of team and initiate promotions or internal transfers
• To conduct regular training sessions in line with the departmental SOP’s
• To ensure proper organization, planning and control of china, silver, linen, glassware, menus and other supplies
• To monitor sales and cost of outlet and trend of ongoing promotions in order to meet and maximize the monthly revenue budget for the respective outlet
• To prepare requisitions for beverages, condiments, general supplies and guest supplies, taking into consideration established par stocks and the occupancy/ level of business
• To be aware of daily and monthly outlet budget and targets
• To promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills
• To control the operational expenses by minimizing wastage, breakage and spoilage
• To makes himself familiar with all menus, promotions, and other relevant issues concerning the outlet (product knowledge).
• To plan the operational tasks and assign the relevant duties depending on the skills of the line employees
• To maintain compliance with all policies and procedures
Candidate Profile:
• Hospitality degree or relevant diploma from a recognized international Hospitality institution
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role in a 5 star luxury hotel preferably in the Middle East
• Effective communication skills and an excellent command of written and spoken English. Other language skills are a plus.
• Advanced computer skills
• This position requires full mobility, continuous movement and the ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds
