About the Role

As London Project Pastry Chef you are a food enthusiast, your passion for creativity and food innovation are what makes us stand out amongst the rest. Your well-crafted menus along our all-time delicious and decadent treats are what entices our guests to indulge in every bite and without any doubt ends their meal on a high note.

The right candidate should possess the skills to produce high quality desserts, breads and pastries alongside a desire to bring creativity to the role that will ensure our guests are taken on a journey and create memories through an exceptional dining experience. Good knowledge of food safety guidelines & health practices of UAE are essential.

The details of the role will be shared within the positions job description, but we are looking for an individual who can shine above the pack and be able to deliver consistent, quality product daily whilst working within a team environment.

About you

At your interview we will be assessing you as much for your skills and knowledge as a pastry chef, but also who you are, so the below are a few guidelines points to help you make the decision if you would like to apply.

  • Do you have at least 4 years of pastry experience in luxury hotel or restaurant?
  • Do you possess extensive knowledge of kitchen equipment & procedures, health and safety regulations and food production?
  • Do you have good communications skills and a fluent ability to speak English?
  • Do you have a pleasant personality and possess a “can do” attitude?
  • Are you a self-motivated person with an eye for detail?
  • Can you manage your time?
  • Are you well presented, clean, tidy and care about your personal grooming and presentation?
  • Do you enjoy dealing with guests and showing off your skills?
  • Can you bring confidence without arrogance to a team?
