Entourage Hospitality Services hiring Sous Chef at Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Do you have a passion for sushi and a knack for knife skills? We're looking for a creative and experienced Junior Sous Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. 

Potential Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Sous Chef/Chef: Support the Sous Chef in all aspects of sushi preparation and service.
• Sushi Preparation: Prepare sushi ingredients including fish slicing, rice preparation, and assembling sushi rolls.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all sushi dishes meet quality standards in terms of taste, presentation, and portion size.
• Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels of sushi ingredients to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new sushi dishes and seasonal menus.
• Training: Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on techniques and food safety procedures.
• Food Safety Compliance: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Ordering Supplies: Assist in ordering sushi ingredients and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and proper storage.
• Station Management: Oversee the sushi station during service hours, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.
• Assisting in Administrative Tasks

Requirements:

• Resident visa holder with NOC 
• Proven experience as a sushi chef
• A deep understanding of ingredients and techniques
• Creativity in sushi making and presentation
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety standards
• Team player with a can-do attitude

• Location: Fashion Avenue, Dubai Mall  
• Joining date: immediate 
• Duration:  seasonal / 6 months
• Schedule: 6 days a week 
• Working hrs: 54 hours per week 
• Monthly Pay: depends on experience
