Our restaurant is set to open soon in the Blue Water’s new beachfront dining venue. Go in the day and you'll be able to lose yourself in the sweeping shore and the largest observation wheel in the world views. At night, it comes alive with energy, and unique atmosphere.

We are in search of a professional, yet entertaining, and experienced person who would like to join our team as a music resident DJ. Responsibilities Includes, but not limited to:

Feed off the crowd and get the crowd involved with the activities and events of the venue for entertainment value.

Creating own sounds by manipulating beats, using samples, adding extra music and sound effects. 

Operating lighting and visual effects in time to the beat.

Choosing music to suit audience’s taste and the restaurant’s music policy.

Responsible for engaging with listeners, and queueing up playlists.

You may also be required to MC public events and perform meet and greets. 

Keeping up with an entertaining and natural flow of chat with the guests.

Managing Music Operations Reviewing weekly and monthly overall restaurant music playlist, manages all restaurant equipment's related to operation. 

Use various formats including vinyl, CD or MP3, and a range of equipment such as turntables, mixers, microphones and amplifiers. Access to your own equipment and software.

Play and mix records in the restaurant, to create atmosphere and/or keep people dancing.

Provide wide range of playlists and music mixes depending on the setting and choose music to suit your audience’s taste and the venue’s music policy.

Have knowledge of music trends.

Capable of interacting and have a good sense of humor with the public.

May operate lighting and visual effects in time to the beat.

Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the venue, the brand and the Company.

Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. 

Job also requires ability to perform the following: Strong ability to provide attention to detail. Carrying or lifting heavy. Handling objects, microphones, cables and other sound system products. Standing for long hours and must be able to move about the entire facility safely and efficiently.

Qualifications: 

- To ensure success as a disc jockey, you should have a natural charisma, a passion for music, and the ability to connect with people. A top-notch DJ connects with listeners through engaging talk content and social interaction.

- 4 years’ experience in the related professional area, performing live, specifically with DJing for events/parties/nightclubs

- You have vast experience of the music industry and have a track record as DJ in the region.

- Your in-depth knowledge for the local and international music scene is what sets you apart from the others, together with your genuine enthusiasm for music.

- Spoken English Skills, Adaptability Communication Skills, Confidence, Creativity, Flexibility, Interpersonal Skills, IT Skills, Proactive Technical Skills.
