The Hostess is responsible for welcoming and seating the guests. She works closely with the reservations manager and assists him/her in some of his/her daily tasks.

Duties and responsibilities

• The Hostess has to check that any guest coming in is directly taken care of and welcomed as soon as arrived.
• To offer a personalized service it is best to call a guest by his name and therefore memorization of the guest’s name is necessary.
• She makes sure, before the service, that the welcoming area is set and clean and that her table plan is done and has been applied correctly by the Servers and that the Servers are informed about the name of the reservation and minimum spend and special requests
• She has to know the floor plan perfectly.
• Hostesses are responsible for training and assisting new Hostesses.
• Ensure that personal grooming and uniform are to the required s standards.
• Promotes image of the restaurant by displaying impeccable manners, diplomacy, and tact towards our outlet, guests, and the management.
• Assure a perfect welcoming and it’s committed to achieving 85% of positive comments on social media.
• She informs the reservations manager in any case of maintenance problem or malfunction.
• Responsible for filling table reports at the end of the operation.
• Attends briefings, training sessions, and weekly meetings.
• She deals with complaints or special requests and reports them to the management even if the problem is fixed.

• Flexible schedule for nights, weekends, holidays, and/or split shifts as necessary
