Job Description
Responsible for the successful operation of the Bar, including responsibilities as shift operations and supervision, promoting the bar using your client portfolio and public relations, ensuring guests and employee satisfaction, maintaining the operating budget, and ensuring all the legal obligations are covered s per the liquor law,
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- 4 years’ experience as a bar manager in Dubai.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel, and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Managing Bar Operations
- Manages in compliance with all local, state, and Federal beverage and liquor laws, and monitors adherence to all liquor control policies and procedures
- Understands beverage control including days on hand, perpetual inventory, bar pars, portion control, costs controls, beverage potentials, a mix of sales analysis for beverage, issue & returns, food standards, and period end inventory.
- Participates in the management of the department's controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
- Ensures compliance with all Bar standards and procedures.
- Assists with developing menus and promotions as necessary.
Leading Bar/Lounge Team
- Trains staff on liquor control policies and procedures. Ensures employees understand expectations and parameters at the time that supervise staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service
- Excellent customer service interactions with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels and responds effectively to guest problems and complaints.
- Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service and provides feedback to individuals in an effort to improve service performance.
Public relations
- Managing long-term relationships with the clients
- Participates in the development bringing your client portfolio
