Chaihona, located in the heart of Greens Dubai, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Floor Supervisor to join our vibrant team. As a Floor Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations on the restaurant floor, providing excellent service, and leading the front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will ensure that every guest enjoys a memorable visit while maintaining high standards of efficiency and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service & Satisfaction:
Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously.
Oversee all aspects of guest service during shifts to ensure that guests receive a seamless and high-quality experience.
Handle guest complaints and feedback in a professional manner, resolving issues effectively to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring guests feel valued and well cared for.
Staff Supervision & Development:
Supervise and lead the front-of-house team, including servers, hosts, and runners, ensuring they provide excellent service.
Train, coach, and motivate staff to meet company standards for service, cleanliness, and guest interaction.
Manage team schedules to ensure proper staffing levels during busy periods.
Provide ongoing support to staff, offering feedback and guidance to improve performance.
Operational Efficiency:
Ensure that the dining area is clean, organized, and set up according to Chaihona's standards.
Monitor the flow of guests, managing seating arrangements to maximize occupancy while ensuring comfort.
Coordinate and manage reservations, walk-ins, and special requests.
Ensure smooth communication between the front and back of the house to ensure timely food and beverage delivery.
Oversee the setup, cleanliness, and organization of all dining areas, including restrooms and other public spaces.
Quality Control:
Ensure that all food and beverages are served at the highest quality, in line with Chaihona’s standards.
Conduct regular inspections of the dining area and staff performance to ensure service meets quality and cleanliness standards.
Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for both staff and guests.
Shift Management & Reporting:
Oversee daily operations during shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient service from start to finish.
Prepare daily shift reports, including inventory checks, guest feedback, and operational issues.
Assist in managing the POS system, processing payments, and handling cash/credit transactions accurately.
Report any issues, discrepancies, or concerns to the Restaurant Manager promptly.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Floor Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English required; additional languages are a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including POS systems, guest service, and basic inventory control.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
