Job Overview

As the Bartender, you will be responsible on preparing and ensure that every service of beverages for servers and guests is on speedy, efficient, friendly, and professional manner.

Your main goal is to create amazing memories for our guests while highlighting all beverage preferences we have to offer.

You will be the responsible person who prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in line with Gattopardo Restaurant beverage standards.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • To prepare drinks for the customers and servers, ensures that the proper materials and supplies are on hand, and hosts guest experience.
  • To perform all necessary tasks to service beverages according to the beverage standards of Gattopardo Restaurant
  • To ensure that HACCP system is always followed without excuses.
  • To also extend prompt services to all guests and treat guests and colleagues in a courteous manner.
  • To make sure that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages.
  • To maintain bar display in pristine condition according to company policy.
  • To set up the bar at the beginning of a shift and break it down at the end of a shift.
  • To always ensure that all beverages are served at the correct temperature.
  • To always provide a courteous, professional, attentive, and efficient service at all times with all departments and customers.
  • To well establish a good rapport and working relationship with all staff and all other departments
  • To prepare drinks for the customers and servers, ensures that the proper materials and supplies are on hand, and hosts guest experience.
  • To ensure on assessing the bar customers’ needs and preferences and making recommendations.
  • To restock and replenish bar supplies and inform your seniors on any additional requirements before the operation.

 

Departmental/Operational Responsibilities

  • To work towards the timely set up of the bar areas and the completion of all mise en place works, in line with the opening hours.
  • To consistently maintain the cleanliness of the bar areas and stores through disposing of all waste, clearing and cleaning all glassware, and wiping down bar and preparation areas.
  • To perform all cleaning standards of the bar and follows the Clean as you go system (CLAYGO)
  • To ensure that the FIFO (First In, First Out) system is adhered to in the stocking and cleaning of bars and storerooms.
  • To always stay focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
  • To accordingly assist all departments in case it is not busy your section.
  • To always act and perform accordingly to Gattopardo Restaurant and protocols.
  • To maintain team playing attitude and ensures that the team comply while extending prompt services to all guests and treat guests and colleagues in a courteous manner.
  • To ensure that beverage stocks are always at PAR Level every operation.
  • To always ensure that every drink/beverage is served at the right temperature and in proper glassware.

 

People Management

  • To understand the importance of teamwork and communication for the health of the establishment.
  • To also analyse and address any concerns to designated departments upon guest feedback to ensure that next guest visit is taken actions.
  • To perform any other reasonable duties and tasks assigned by department head or management.
  • To consistently coordinate and participate in the weekly inventories and maintains strict control on the Par Stock of articles and supplies.

 

Communication

  • To ensure accurate follow up and communication both internally and to the guests.
  • To ensure you have a great personality and be able to communicate with members and guests that might share various levels of beverage knowledge.
  • To attend all briefings before and after the operations to ensure all is being outlined and as per the standards.
  • To always be updated on all relevant issues and concerns from your seniors.

 

Leadership

  • To assist training sessions on cocktail techniques, beverage pouring practice, employee development, guest service to the new joiners.
  • To always be confident and responsible for the daily bar requirements of all guests and solve any related issues accordingly and timely.
