PURCHASING OFFICER
Job Title Purchasing Officer

Responsible for Purchase orders, inventory keeper

As Purchasing Officer, you are not only responsible for planning and managing the orders and inventory, but you are also here to create an environment where our guests can feel welcomed and enjoy the variety of services that we have to offer.
Main Responsibilities
- Source and purchase food, beverages, and supplies for the venue from the various departments.
- Identifying and selecting suppliers who can provide quality products at competitive prices.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms and ensure reliable delivery.
- Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that the restaurant has enough stock to meet demand without over-purchasing, which could lead to waste.
- Conducting regular stock checks and ensuring that inventory is rotated to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
- Managing the purchasing budget by negotiating the best prices and seeking out cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Ensuring that all purchased items meet the restaurant's quality standards.
- Inspecting deliveries for quality and consistency and addressing any discrepancies or issues with suppliers.
- Maintaining accurate records of purchases, supplier contracts, and inventory levels.
- Ensuring that all purchasing activities comply with food safety regulations and the restaurant’s policies.
- Staying updated on relevant laws and regulations that affect food purchasing and handling.
- Coordinating with the finance department to ensure timely payment of invoices and proper accounting of expenses.
